It is the primary responsibility of the Spa Manicurist to provide a variety of nail services including but not limited to manicures, pedicures, acrylic, gel polish and related treatments such as scrubs and masks. Also, performs duties related to the cleaning, stocking, and providing amenities and service throughout the Spa. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and MGM Resorts International policies, practices, and procedures.
+ Provide a variety of nail services including but not limited to manicures, pedicures, acrylic, gel polish and related treatments such as scrubs and masks.
+ Also, performs duties related to cleaning, stocking, and providing amenities and service throughout the Spa.
+ Provide the highest level of guest service that exceeds guest expectations.
+ Greet all guest in a friendly and professional manner.
+ Perform a quality massage service or body treatments using professional and ethical techniques.
+ Keep work area clean area clean and stocked of needed tools. (linen, products and supplies)
+ Maintain a flexible work schedule.
+ Inform management of guest issues, needed supplies or equipment related issues.
+ Follow all service standards and department policies and procedures.
+ Maintain Core Values.
+ Adhere to State Board Rules and Regulations.
+ Perform all other job related duties as requested.
+ At least 1 year of experience as a manicurist in a spa/salon or similar position or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
+ Must be 18 years old.
+ Excellent customer skills.
+ Have interpersonal skill to deal effectively with all business contacts.
+ Professional appearance and demeanor.
+ Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Able to effectively communicate in English, in both in written and oral form.
+ At least 6 months of previous guest service experience.
+ Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
